अंबिकापुर नगर कोतवाली पुलिस ने 2 बाइक चोर समेत 9 खरीददारों को पकड़ा है।
वहीं पुलिस ने 24 मोटरसाइकिल व स्कूटी को बरामद की है। उक्त प्राप्त जानकारी के
अनुसार सरगुजा जिले में लगातार बाइक की चोरी को लेकर पुलिस परेशान थी। इसको देखते
हुए सरगुजा पुलिस अधीक्षक ने एक टीम गठित कर बाइक चोरों पर नकेल कसने के लिए एक
अभियान चलाया तथा पतासाजी के दौरान मुखबिर की सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने विद्याधर
दास और करमू नामक युवक को गिरफ्तार किया। दोनों पकडे गए आरोपी बाइक को अलग -अलग
स्थानों में बेचे जाने की बात कहीं। इसके बाद पुलिस ने उनकी निशानदेही पर 9 खरीददार को गिरफ्तार किया
और 24 बाइक बरामद की। मामले में पुलिस ने बाइक चोर व खरीददारों को
न्यायिक रिमांड में लेकर जेल भेजा।
